OCSC

1 Park Place, Canary Wharf (London)

O’Connor Sutton Cronin are the consulting engineers on this 46 storey office tower over a double basement in the heart of Canary Wharf.

This project has been granted planning permission and OCSC have completed 3 scheme design options as part of our value engineering exercise for pricing.

The columns are set out on a 9m grid and OCSC have provided a post tensioned flat slab and composite metal deck floor slab solutions. Due to the slenderness of the structure, both the internal stair and lift cores and the external structural frame, acting as a tube, will provide lateral stability to the building and limit movement of the building at high level.
