OCSC is pleased to share that we have donated 30 computers to the Mellon Educate SA literacy program for use at literacy hubs. These computers were transported to Cape Town in suitcases and were presented at Yomelela Primary School in Khayelitsha Township.
Our Group Managing Director, Martin Mc Grath, who built the literacy hub at this school during last year’s building blitz, also joined 325 others accompanied with daughters Julie and Aishling last week to construct two new schools – Chuma Primary and Isipiwo Primary – comprising 20 classrooms, two kitchens, two literacy hubs, two playgrounds, and four covered dining shelters in just one week of physical work. We are proud to support such worthwhile causes and look forward to continuing our efforts in the future. If you’re feeling inspired come along and join Mellon Educate on their Building Blitz 2024. see www.melloneducate.com for more information.
