OCSC are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for numerous projects across Ireland. The role would particularly suit someone with Civil Engineering experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
- Process variation orders / claims as required.
- Procure the services of contractors and/or subcontractors.
- Measure and value the work done on each site.
- Complete progress reports.
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant must have the following requirements.

- A degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Economics.
- Have 3+ years experience in a similar role in Ireland or the UK.
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering construction techniques.
- Have knowledge and experience of current forms of contracts, and EN Standards.
- Be proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Have an excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
