ROLE
You will be responsible for managing project delivery and quality, across a range of sectors.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support all aspects of small to large complex projects in public and private sectors.
- Manage Structural requirements of projects, in accordance with client requirements and current regulations.
- Manage and coordinate project resources (weekly).
- Develop employees in accordance with OCSC HR policies.
- Manage client expectations and attend client meetings.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- A recognised degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered or working towards chartership
- 5+ years structural design experience in the Irish/UK Construction sector.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Experience of undertaking steel , masonry and timber and concrete design to Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards.
- Familiarity with the BCAR Regulations and experience in carrying out and reporting on site inspections
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit , Tekla, Scia or ROBOT.
- Good planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A ‘can do’ attitude with commitment to excellent customer service.
- Up to date with continuous developments in Structural Engineering.
