ROLE

You will be responsible for managing project delivery and quality, across a range of sectors.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support all aspects of small to large complex projects in public and private sectors.
  • Manage Structural requirements of projects, in accordance with client requirements and current regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate project resources (weekly).
  • Develop employees in accordance with OCSC HR policies.
  • Manage client expectations and attend client meetings.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • A recognised degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership
  • 5+ years structural design experience in the Irish/UK Construction sector.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Experience of undertaking steel , masonry and timber and concrete design to Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards.
  • Familiarity with the BCAR Regulations and experience in carrying out and reporting on site inspections
  • Proficiency in Structural Engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit , Tekla, Scia or ROBOT.
  • Good planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Up to date with continuous developments in Structural Engineering.
