We were delighted to see that a delegation from Louth County Council visit our Greenhill’s Grange development in Drogheda last week. The visit, attended by Cathaoirleach Cllr Sean Kelly, Mayor of Drogheda Cllr Michelle Hall, and Chief Executive David Conway, offered an opportunity to showcase this innovative age-friendly housing scheme.

OCSC is providing civil and structural engineering services for this important project, which will deliver 45 high-quality two-bed bungalows and a five-bed assisted living bungalow, set within inclusive and accessible public spaces. Designed to offer safe and comfortable homes for people aged 55 and over, the scheme reflects our commitment to delivering practical solutions that enhance community living.

Construction began in February 2025 and remains on track for completion by mid-2026. The development consists of 45 new sheltered accommodation units on a 1.85 ha site at Newtown Link Road, Greenhills, Drogheda. Key features include a new site access, public footpath, estate road, 60 parking spaces, cycle facilities, landscaped public open spaces, private gardens, and comprehensive infrastructure works.
