Located at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, this remarkable development thoughtfully integrates the 112-year-old Protected Structure of the former British and Irish Steam Packet Company building into a modern, mixed-use scheme. With a focus on sustainability-targeting BER A3 and LEED Platinum-the project is a testament to engineering and architectural excellence in Dublin Docklands.

O’Connor Sutton Cronin is proud to have served as the Civil, Structural, Environmental, Mechanical, and Electrical Consulting Engineers for both The Shipping Office and adjacent 1 Lime Street project. The overall development comprises 16,500m² of Grade A office space, 530m² of retail space, double basement construction, and a 7-storey residential building providing 216 apartments, enhanced by amenity spaces and sustainable flood management. The original protected structure forms a standout focal point, seamlessly connected via an innovative glazed atrium.
