We are delighted to announce that O’Connor Sutton Cronin has been awarded the contract for Stages 4 and 5 of the “Public Realm Improvements for a Pedestrianised New Street” in Malahide.

Working closely with Fingal County Council, our Civil and Structural teams are providing a comprehensive suite of services, including Employer’s Representative, Full-Time Resident Engineering, and PSDP services. This project represents a significant milestone in transforming New Street—located within a sensitive Architectural Conservation Area—into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly zone.

Delivering a project of this nature within Malahide’s historic core requires meticulous planning. Our team is focused on ensuring seamless integration of services and traffic light sequencing at key interfaces like The Diamond, as well as managing complex logistics such as marina access and strategic wayfinding signage.

This appointment underscores OCSC’s commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions that enhance urban environments while respecting the functional needs of the local community. We look forward to seeing this transformative vision for New Street come to life.
