🏆 We’re delighted to announce the recent completion of Greystones Community College.🏆
Located at Charlesland in Greystones, this 10,800m² campus was delivered for the Department of Education and Youth, providing over 50 classrooms, a general-purpose hall, special needs unit, and purpose-built outdoor and play areas. The new building marks a transformative shift for the local community, consolidating students and staff from three dispersed locations into a vibrant, single-site home for learning.
O’Connor Sutton Cronin worked in close collaboration with BAM UK & Ireland to deliver mechanical, electrical, energy and sustainability services for this flagship project.
Our energy-efficient design secured a Building Energy Rating (BER) of A2 and featured:
✅Bivalent heating with air source heat pumps & backup condensing gas boilers
✅Domestic hot water via high-temperature heat pumps
✅High-efficiency, CO2-controlled MVHR in teaching spaces
✅Rainwater harvesting and a photovoltaic (PV) solar array
