O’Connor Sutton Cronin was appointed Mechanical & Electrical engineers for 261 apartments and a crèche facility adjacent to Notre Dame School. This location has the benefits of excellent infrastructure including the LUAS Green Line on its doorstep along with Dundrum Town Centre within walking distance.

• The development comprises a mix of apartments, duplexes houses in seven new buildings which range in height from three to six stories. Fernbank House, a protected structure on the grounds, was retained, with the walled garden restored.
• OCSC worked as part of the Design Team and coordinated efforts seamlessly with all other design disciplines during the design and construction phases of the project. Furthermore, OCSC carried out regular on-site inspections during construction to ensure a high-quality, compliant, and sustainable build was delivered to the Development.

• The most important aspect of the OCSC brief was to design in accordance with stringent targets that were set at a planning level. OCSC overcame this by engaging with the client and the design team at the concept design stage. We proposed a series of solutions that would not compromise the overall aesthetics of the development and yet ensure it complied with regulations. OCSC ensured that all statutory requirements were met and exceeded to produce an extremely energy-efficient high-end residential development.
