O’Connor Sutton Cronin was appointed as the structural and civil engineer for the Goodluck Hope project which is a new riverside neighbourhood located directly on the River Thames and the River Lea at the historic Leamouth Peninsula. The recently restored Grade II-listed Orchard Dry Dock at Leamouth South overlooks the O2 Arena.
- The development includes 841 new homes, a brewery, residents’ club facilities, educational space, and over 23,000 sqm of retail, restaurants, and flexible workspace.
- As part of the works the river wall was improved and repairs were carried out to the existing dry dock wall.
- The development consists of thirteen blocks ranging from four to thirty storeys and a 6000m2 basement consisting of car parking and plant rooms. The basement is formed via sheet pled walls and concrete slabs.
- The six precast residential buildings comprise fully precast concrete construction consisting of precast concrete party walls and façade sandwich panels.
