O’Connor Sutton Cronin was appointed as Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineers for the Block F office development, at Cherrywood Business Park, Co. Dublin. The development comprises two office Blocks over three levels of basement car parking and a landscaped podium
- Block F1 was designed to accommodate a single tenant, while Block F2 is designed to Cat “A” and provides for multi-tenant use. Provision has been allowed for the future development of Block F3 adjacent to the proposed Luas line. Blocks F1 and F2 were handed over in July and November 2020. Basement areas under the proposed F3 Block were completed in October 2021.
- The buildings were constructed over an existing basement. Works comprised decommissioning of the existing ESB sub-station and the provision of a new suite of sub-stations including MV connections to provide for the new scheme. The site is capable of providing 100% EV chargers at basement levels.
- OCSC used Dialux and Lighting reality software for the lighting design and Amtech for cable calculations.
