O’Connor Sutton Cronin was appointed as Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineers for Dunnes Stores for a number of projects including the following:
- The works generally consisted of new extensions to stores and the revamp of grocery and textile departments in line with the new Dunnes Stores design standard. This includes the creation of food courts, café sol outlets, and various concessions (Sheridan’s Cheese, Baxter & Green, James Whelan Butchers, Bakery, Seafood).
- All works are generally carried out within a live trading environment and under a tight program which brings an extra challenge to each project.
- New interior lighting schemes and energy-efficient lighting controls.
Stores Include: Portmarnock/ Illac Centre/ Blanchardstown/ Donaghmede/ Newbridge/ Ballyvolane (Cork)/ Bandon Road (Cork)/ Blackrock & Knocknacarra (Galway)
